Students learn the basic principles of machine sewing, serging and understanding patterns. They will make fun and useful projects, including: clothing, bags, pillows, blankets and quilts, just to name a few. Students thrive in this creative and positive environment as they learn these valuable skills.
Explore the concepts: Counting, measuring, fractions, comparing “greater and less than”, bigger and smaller shapes, time measurement.
In “hands on” cooking and sewing classes, students can learn math that will give them the basic life skills they can use to navigate everyday basic questions concerning math concepts while making useful and creative projects, yummy food and treats.
